How to prepare for Exams

Hello dear  students

Your Board exams are just around the corner  and I know you all are studying hard.
Many of you may be in a dilemma as to how to prepare for Business Studies exam or if you have already done your course then how to revise.
I am sharing my views on how to utilize your time most productively while preparing for this subject.
  1. First of all it is very important to read chapter thoroughly from book .Tip:You should try to learn heading given in NCERT book exactly but as far as explanation is considered , it can be there in your own words . But make sure you know the key words around which you write your explanation.
  2. Now try the worksheet of chapter, This will reinforce your learning and help you in checking your understanding .Click here : To see the worksheet of chapter -1 .

You will find them on our blog for every chapter with the icon shown below. These are freely downloadable. You  can write your answers in worksheet itself.

3   Now make mind map of chapter .(without referring to book) – Mind Map will have all the         heading     and sub heading .This is an excellent technique to revise main contents of chapter.
Click on the Link to see mind maps.of chapter -1: Click here
You will find them on our blog for every chapter with the icon shown below

Tip :
·         While making mind map you may not remember all heading or sub heading. But don’t open book to see .Complete the mind map with contents you know. After completing ,open the book and find points which you forget and write in the same mind map but with different color pen.So now you know areas or topics which you keep forgetting.
·         I you have made any ACRONYM or MNEMONICS write the same in mind map with points. If you want to know what are they, refer to our blog post : Click here
4.
Now try case studies chapter wise .And please remember quality is more important than                       quantity.  Do try case studies asked in CBSE Sample papers and board papers .
Click the link to get Chapter wise board case studies : Click here
         Tip :
Keep on writing on one page ,the topics where you are going wrong or forget points.
This is  your list of  your tumbling areas . Keep revising them till you master them.

5.  After doing chapter –wise preparation ,now its time to practice full paper where questions from       different chapters are mixed .
You can also try mixed case studies posted by me : Click here
Do check the blog page on Tips for writing and Preparing for Business Studies Exam : Click here

I wish you all the best . Let me know if you face any difficulty . I will be glad to help you all.
